Raise Funds with a Traditional Imu! Join us for a special opportunity to raise funds while sharing in the tradition of cooking in an imu. Perfect for schools, teams, and community groups!
How It Works:
1. Sign Up – Pick a date and register online.
2. Prepare & Cook – Your group and Kākoʻo ʻŌiwi prepare the imu and cook the pork.
3. Sell & Distribute – Your group sells the kalua pig and arranges pickup.
Purchase Options:
Option 1 Buy Ready-Made:
$8 per pound (sell for $10+ per pound). No work required.
Option 2 Volunteer & Save:
Help with the imu process to reduce costs.
Containers/supplies: $4.50/pound
Kakoo fee: $1.50/pound
Total out of pocket paid by Fundraiser: $6.00/pound.
